Yesterday morning, my alarm clock sung in my ear;
I rolled over, wishing it could have been your sweet voice instead.
The wind blew my hair off of my shoulders;
I closed my eyes, imagining it was you.
Last night I wrapped my arms around myself;
wishing they were yours.
I sat up this morning, with tears expeditioning down my cheeks;
hoping you would appear to whip them away.
But reality has finally set in...
your not coming back.
