Prologue

What made me want to write isnt normal
and it wasnt the best thing in the world. I remember the slaps
and black eyes that stopped my joy. CPS was knocking at my brothers
door for about a week asking me if I wanted to stay or leave because
my mother and father only lived a few doors down. He hit me so hard
but I managed to fight back. What's love without another person giving
it back? Hospitals and jail cells with nothing but a Mead(five star) graphing
tablet and a pen. I felt like dying but in my heart I had something to say
so I wrote, wrote, and wrote until I couldnt write no more.
My father just made my life hell, even though I was just 12. Writing helps me
through it all now and I will NEVER GIVE UP on it.

Damn, I cant believe Im sitting here looking stupid.
I let this nigga hit me once again and now my moms here putting
make up on my bruised eye.

"Damn Trinity I keep telling you to leave this nigga alone, when you gone learn?", my mom
asked cleaning up the bruise on my right cheek and below my left eye.

"Mama, he just got a little over heated, he aint mean it"
"Thats the damn excuse for every time Tee!"
"Excuse? Its the truth mama!"
"You cant keep hiding this from your family you know we care about you"
"Im 17 mama Im fine ok"
"Im sorry that I kicked you out but you had to learn but youre welcome to come back"
"No thanks Im fine"

After she finished I said my goodbyes and thanked her for cleaning
me up. Halfway out the house my phone started to ring.

"Love all over me!!!"

"Hello?"
"Hey where you at?"
"Dewayne?"
"Yeah thats me, I just got back in town where are you?"
"Leaving my mother's house"
"Can I come see you?"
"Umm.....I guess"
"Alright be there in 20"

What was I thinking? I cant let him see me like this!

2pm

"SO how you been?"
"Ive been ok I can complian", I laughed pushing the shades upon my face some
more.

"What made you come back Dewayne?"
"Shid....you"
"Im 17, a kid Im nothing to come back for"
"Well age dont mean nothing Trinity, Im just 4 years older than you"
"So", I laughed then continued,
"but still"
"Still nothing, you live with your mom?"
"Nope not no more"
"What? Why?"
"Long story", I said shaking my head.
"Make it short, when I talked to your brother he said you was having trouble with some nigga...
wussup?"
"Look....", taking off my glasses, "He hits me , but I know he love me", I cried, and Dewayne whiped the tears away.

"Trinity why you let hime hit you huh?!"
"Just let it go man"
"Naw Tee thats foul. A woman aint no damn punching bag"

I knew I shouldnt have taken the glasses off, he gone start trippin as usual.

"Follow behind me in your car so we can go to my crib you aint goin home tonight"
"Ok"
"Let me go holler at your mama real quick"


What do you guys think I know its boring in the beggining but it gets interesting

Trinity(continued)

After he talked to moms, I jumped in my 2004 Taurus and followed
Dewayne.In 20 minutes we were at Nigrasha Falls Condos on Peach Tree.

"This your new crib?"
"Yeah gotta live big in the A"
"Whateva", I laughed while entering Dewayne's condo.
We sat down on his black leather couch and I started to drift off to
sleep.

6pm

When I awoke at 6 oclock Dewayne wasnt on the couch with me anymore
I had a blanket on and a pillow underneath my head.

"Dewayne", I whispered while trying to clear my throat.

He didnt answer so I slowly got up and walked towards the door so I could
leave. Before I opened the door I heard Dewayne and some female arguing.

"Look I cant do this shit no more with you ight?"
"You just wanna fuck huh?!"
"MAn get on with that shit!"
"Im gone!", the female yelled, and I asumed she was walking away because
I heard her heels.

After I heard a car swerve off I pushed the door open and flew past Dewayne.

"Say shawty where you goin!?", pulling my arm.
"Obviously you have some things to deal with so Ima go!"
"Naw its nothing like that"
"GTF WAYNE!"

7pm.
I looked at him, he looked at me his eyes were red and his breath
smelled of beer. His hands were ready to strangle me. Why?
Maybe there is no reason, maybe because I came home late.
I wouldnt call 7 late but Marquise do.

"Where you been?", he asked sounding drunk as ever.
"I went to my mamas to clean up your mess! Thats where I been
Marquise!"
"So you run to your mama?"
"Shut up!", I said waving him off and entering my room.

I took a shower and put on some gray hollister pajama pants and
a white tank top. After that I decided to check my Twitter and I had a few
messages from my friends I used to go to school with before I dropped out.

Ive been knowin' Trinity for 5 years. I been there for her and I never
decieved her. She know that I dont know why she choose to be with this nigga
that she with. I been gone for just 6 months to handle some business in Cali.

Trnity is one of them hard type
girls. I met her when I was 16 just a
little kid that aint know no better. But even though she was
like 13 at that time she was on my level.
My boys couldnt even tell. Hell they thought she was older
than me.
I love this girl with all my heart. Love her like she was all
mine. She's not the female I knew before. Then to explain
this girl I used to have relations with way back named MArnie smh.
MArnie man I cant even explain this female right here.
Well maybe in one word...."Crazy" she always had me goin through
random shit. She claimed she was having a baby for me when we
only fucked once and I strapped up and I strapped up and pulled out.
Turned out she was never pregnant.

Im on my way to go see my little sis Rissa and my aunt.
My moms died when we were little. I was 8 at the time and Ris
was like 4.
Moms was the strongest woman ever and I see her in Trinity.
Trinity has a fight in her that most people dont see. But I do.
And I always will.

"Hey bro!", Rissa screamed jumping on me.
"Wussup?", I laughed giving her a warm hug.
"Chillin' you know me"
"Where mama?....I mean Aunt Vicky?", I asked frowning
at what I accidentally said.
"It's okay bro, but Aunt V is at the store"
"Take a ride with me real quick to see Tee"
"Boy you know how she is now"
"So?", I said pulling her arm.

"Where the baby?"
"She's upstairs sleeping Ima go get her"

While on the way to Trinity's crib, I started to question my sister
about Larena's dad.

"Has he been there for her", pointing to the little person
in the backseat knocked out sleep.

"Yeah all the time"

"Don't let me find out and kill that lil nigga"

"Dewayne chill"

"Ight where do I turn?"

"Make a right here"

As I pulled up to Trinity's apartment her car was
there. I got Larena out the car and we all went to knock.
When the door opened there stood Trinity with a busted up lip and broken body.

"Trinity!", I yelled putting Larena down and busting through her door.
I ran around pacing trying to find this bitch ass nigga that called himself
a man.
"Where you at nigga!"

"He's not here Wayne!", Trinity yelled.

I ran into the living room where Trinity was and pushed her to the floor.

"Why you let him do this huh!?", standing over her.

"Wayne stop!", Rissa yelled.

"Naw man, you like for niggas to beat yo ass?", holding her arms down.

She tried to fight me off but her body was too weak.

"Uncie wayne stop!", my lil neice cried tuggin' on my white Tee.
I began letting go of her arms and stood up slowly making my way
to her couch, to sit down.

"Come here Tee"

"Just leave Dewayne"

"Girl come your ass here for I make you", I said not playin' with her ass.
She came and sat next to me all bruised up.
"I want you to go take a shower and clean yoself up, pack up
all yo shit dont leave no clothes here get all yo shit, you coming
with me alright"

"Deway.."

"Do what I tell you ight"

"Ok"

Trinity" Tee Tee" or "Tee"


I got up and went to my room and got out some dark blue jean shorts and an all white t-shirt
that hugged my curves.
When I entered the
bathroom I grabbed the alcohol bottle and and cotton balls and started
to rub the alcohol on my lip and the cut on my cheek and neck.
When I got in the shower the hot water sent a stinging sensation over my whole
body.
I couldnt hold the tears that formed from thinking about what
happend to me and the things Dewayne said. Whyy di this happen? What
did I do for him to get so angry.
After my shower I put on my clothes and took care of
my hygiene needs. Like Dewayne said I took out my Loui Vutton travel bags and packed all my clothes.
I put my clothes in the biggest one . My shoes in the other, and make up and accesories in
the smaller one.

"You ready?, Rissa asked.
"Yeah", I said hugging her.
She rubbed my back the said
"Come on lets go"
