Here are some tips.
Know your strong points and use them.
(I'm stronger with dialogue, some are stronger with descriptions. Just use what your good at)
Every story doesn't have to have the same plot or characters.
(Mix them up sometimes, and try something different)
Sometimes reality is best, while others......
(After you've read for so long plots start to seem the same, try getting out of your element. At least one person will appreciate your creativity)
Write for the love of writing, not for the love of reviews
(If you love writing, write. Even if it seems like no one's reading, because you never know when theres a silent reader lurking. S/N... Even though it gets hard, learn to appreciate your silent readers, because at least they do read.)
