After the studio session, Luke asked Jas about meeting with her potential boss. She forgot about it after spending time with Luke. They ventured back to the mall and shopped around. During the ride home she called to set up their dinner. "Hello." His voice saturated her ear sending nerve waves in her flesh. "Hello, Mr. Perez?" She already knew it was him but wanted to keep it formal. "Good evening Miss Coleman." he replied. "I was calling concerning the dinner arrangement you made with me earlier." She mentioned glancing over at Luke. "Yes, are you planning to bring your friend?" He questioned. "Yes my boyfriend is planning to come also." She said. "Great, well I have dinner reservations at Milano's for 7:30. I will be sure to add you two on the list." He said while she glance at the time seeing it was a little after 5. "Sure that will be fine. Thanks again." She mentioned. "No. Thank you." She could feel him smiling through the phone. They hung up.
Jas had the bathroom steaming with a hot shower carrying the scent of sweet vanilla. She didn't know she was going to be joined by Luke. "What are you doing?" She asked a little startled by his presence. She turned around facing him. He smiled examining her creamy mocha skin glistening from the pebbles of water rolling off her skin. "You are taking too long and I need to shower too." He said.
"I'm glad you're here. I need you to wash my back." She turned back around giving him a full view of her backside. His lips met her neck, then her back. "Luke, I can't be late." She fussed turning back around. "You won't be late bae. I want to give you a soft glow." He smiled kissing her lips while the water beat against their bodies. Her desire was to resist him, at least until her back met the wall. His middle finger played in her sweet pot making the water from the shower feel lukewarm. Jas was just about to get into it until she felt her hair getting slightly damp. Her shower cap came off and was floating near the drain.
"Luke my hair." She fussed seeing her hair convert back curly. He smiled, loving her natural beauty. "I'm sorry baby." He apologized. "Let's have fun later, right now it's business. She felt his embrace between her plump thighs leave.
Jas stood in the mirror finishing the final touches of her hair. She came out of the bathroom ready to go. Luke drove, feeling so happy to have Jas back in his life. "Luke..." She interrupted his thoughts. "Yea?" He glance over at her. "Your manager said you been singing at a night club since last year..." She stated.
"Yea, so..."
"How long have you stopped?" She asked.
He smiled sweetly, "Long enough to have you back in my life."
He grabbed her hand and squeezed it firmly. "Have you told Samiya yet?" She asked.
"I plan to. I want her to hear it to believe it."
"Well, what about us?" She asked feeling it was time to let her friend know about their relationship.
"I'm ready whenever you are, now that we are official and everything." He cracked a smile then they both chuckled.
Making plans to tell Sam, they pulled up to Milano's. The restaurant is small and quaint. People were dressed nicely entering and leaving. Walking into the restaurant a hostess greet them with a smile. "Miss Coleman?" She asked sweetly surprising Jas slightly. "Yes." She replied. The hostess grabbed two menus and escort them to their seats in a private section in the back. "Here you go. Mr. Perez will be with you shortly. He would like for you to go on ahead and order and enjoy this complimentary wine." She gestured for the waiter to come with the cart. Luke glance at Jas.
"Damn royal service or what?" He teased. "I'm not going to be he only one." She said seeing the waiter pour their wine up. He left leaving the two alone. "Tell me about your boss." Luke said. "He is not my boss." Jas rolled her eyes at his statement. "Well, look like he will soon. Wassup with this treatment?" he asked. "I don't know. I know he comes from a big time family, and he is partnered with his dad." she said. "Let me run to the restroom before he comes then." Luke got up asking the waiter where the restroom is. He disappeared down the hall.
Jas settled in her cushioned seat, admiring the serene atmosphere. The dim lighting, beautiful murals, and the savory scent brewing in the kitchen tickled her insides. She took a sip of her sweet wine feeling it smoothly stream in her body. "Good evening Miss Coleman." her relax feeling is interrupted by a young gentleman.
"Are you enjoying everything?" Dario asked causing Jas to become more alert.
"Yes, this is really nice." she smile sweetly.
"I'm glad you like it. This is actually my uncle's place. Find this is the best place to talk business.
"I can believe that." she said noticing Luke approaching their table.
"Mr. Perez." Jas caught his attention. "I would like for you to meet Luke. Luke this is Mr. Perez." she introduce the two, watching them shake hands. "Nice to meet you." Luke said.
"Likewise. Have a seat." Dario gestured to the vacant chair he assume was for Luke. "So have you guys ordered yet?" he asked. "No, not yet, they both said. "Well, order whatever you like. The meal is on me."
After ordering their meals, Dario began the conversation again. "You have a talented lady by your side Luke." Dario said settling back in his chair taking in the view. "Yea, I know." He smiled at Jas noticing her cheeks become rosy. "That's why I've been trying to get her on our team." his eyes settled on Jas. "Enough of the flattery already. Lets get down to business." Jas said ready to get this discussion over with. "Alright, let me tell you in detail what we offer..."

"Damn, sound like you hit the jackpot." Luke said pulling into Jas driveway.
"It really sounds too good to be true. I'm glad he has offered me to test it out under contract. I really don't know how I would like to not have my resources that I like to use. But at least while under contract I still have that advantage." Jas was happy with her decision.
"We have a lot to celebrate for."
Jas leaned over, kissing Luke on the cheek. "If you're not busy tonight, you're welcome to come in and celebrate with me. "Shit, that's what I had on my mind from the start.

I swear that add was a birthday gift!!! Lol that was so intense!! Gurl yu made me a COLEMAN?! Lol I'm not sure if it's been that way but it made me think of the Baby Mama series bc yu know they're all Colemans lol. Gurl Dario just gives me the chills. He's dangerous, flirting and what not.

Samiya
Samiya pulled up to a small cafe to meet her girls for brunch to start their day. She found them sitting in their usual spot talking. "About time." she heard Rachel say. Samiya settled in her cushion chair taking note of their subtle glow radiating from her two friends. "What the hell, I need to place my shades back on." she teased. "Yea, but you're the one walking in here late." Jas teased. "Man I woke up and Dymond already had her things packed ready to leave me. I'm like damn where is the love." Samiya cracked. "What is going on with ya'll two? Or should I start with you Rachel. Bringing a man near my baby." she said sarcastically.
"Believe me hun. It was so unexpected." she couldn't resist her smile.
"So he came back begging like a dawg for some more food huh?" Samiya chimed.
"Girl stop." she laughed. "He did come back, and to my surprise there may be something more to it than I thought." she continued.
"You see Rae. Getting worked up for leaving. You actually made him want more." Jas preached.
"So ya'll did the nasty when I got my baby?" Samiya sat back with her face scrunched.
"Hush." she placed her hand over her finger because she said it out loud.
A waiter approached the group of young women, taking all of their orders. Afterwards their chatting began again.
"It's all in your face Rae...Even in your body language." Samiya teased.
"I'm assuming I'm not the only one, everyone look refreshed. So tell me Sam, what all went down last night because you was looking down at first." Rachel wanted to get to the details of Dru.
"Well, first of all, I was pissed. Pissed because this nigga had the balls to semi blame me." she watch their facial expressions of disapproval. "Blame you? Hell naw." they both exclaimed.
"Exactly. I asked him how am I to blame for wanting to protect my child. His ass is the one who didn't want her in the first place handing me money for an abortion." she grew upset. The waiter returned with their order, they thank him then jump back to the discussion.
"You better be happy I wasn't there cuz I would have chewed his ass up and down, make him kiss your big toe for forgiveness." Jas took a sip of her cappuchino.
"I gave him a piece of my mind. He did apologize, he wasn't in his right mind he claim. Don't get me wrong I know all of this was going on when his father was killed, but at the same time you don't throw me away for something we have no control over."
"Preach." Rachel chime in the back.
"But yea, he wants me to 'think' about allowing him to see her." she stopped hearing her friends in the background saying hell no... "I know, I know, but he did bring a point across. He mentioned about Dymond wondering who her dad is, and I know when I was growing up I wanted to know my father. Now I'm not saying he is going to take my baby, I will be damned, but if she really wants to know her father I will consider it." Samiya took a bite of her french toast.
"That is a lot to consider. Have Dymond even mention anything about a father?" Jas asked.
"A while back, but she don't say much about wanting a dad. I want her to have a good father figure in her life, but I never thought I would see Dru again. I don't know what to do. I want what is best for her, but I just don't want her to be hurt either." she shook her head at the thought.
"Well, what about Wade? You told him about seeing Dru?" Rachel asked.
"I didn't have to tell him, Dru showed up at my shop the other day and after I left the shop, Dru was waiting for me. Wade pulled up seeing what all was going on. Let's just say it got tense after we left." she took a sip of her drink.
"What Wade had to say on it?" Jas asked.
"He didn't want me to talk to Dru. He actually wanted to come with me when we talk. I ain't down with that shit tho. Yea I know he is my man and all, but when it comes to me and my daughter, I have the say so." she took another bite of her meal. "But enough about my issues. What's going on with Jas? Feel like I haven't seen you in forever." she said.
"Well, let me see. I've been busy with a few events. One that I was working on was for a global company. And they are willing to pay girl top dollar to work for them, under contract to see how I'm digging it. Plus there will be traveling involve, so ladies get ya'll passports because I'm not going overseas by myself." Jas pointed at her two friends and they grew excited.
"I need to get my shit together for New York soon. I still can't believe I have an opportunity to do what I love...Fashion." Rachel commented.
"You better get it together. I worked hard for you to get that opportunity." Samiya smirk at Rachel. "O, before you go, I spoke to Shae." she was cut off. "Since the club?" Rachel asked. "Yea, he came over last night..." she watched her friends eyes buck wide open.
"None of that...He has a nephew he is taking care of and he's behind in school. Is there any possible way for him to catch up?" she asked Rachel.
"Well, I'm going to look into it. I know for certain he needs to be tested on what he is knowledgeable of." Rachel replied. When it came to kids she held a lot of concern for them. That's why Samiya knew she could come to her for advice to advance a child to the proper grade.
"Great. I will give you his number so ya'll can discuss it further. He wants to move back and take care of his nephew." Samiya said.
"Do that. Just text it to me later." Rachel took a sip of her drink.
"Well, ya'll know how hard I been working lately, right." Samiya look at her girls changing the subject.
"Yes indeed. And charging a nigga an arm and a leg." Jas teased.
"That's because you guys are helping me to get my own shop." she grew excited hoping to expand into her own business.
"Wait, what? You getting your own shop?" Jas asked happy for Samiya.
"Well, not quite yet. I have my business plan drawn up to give to the bank for the loan. But I have been holding out because I'm trying to see where to locate it at." she said.
"We will help as much as we can. We'll pick up a few real estate books to go through." Rachel said.
"Thanks you guys. Ya'll know I am in need of help at all times.
They all chuckled and continued enjoying their meal.

Her thoughts were filled with joy until someone caught her eye. A tall male entered with a woman, full and pregnant. Her sudden silence melted into her friends conversation who tried getting her attention. "Yo, Rae...You okay?" Samiya asked. "Yea...I'm good. I just need to run in the bathroom." she quickly got up in the busy cafe nearing the restroom. Her breaths grew shallow trying to gather her thoughts. She wasn't ready to face him. Not after she was finally coming to peace for what happened.
Jas burst through the bathroom door and immediately hugged Rachel who instantly began crying in her arms. "I know you wasn't expecting this hun." she said softly trying not to agitate Rachel even more. "They look so happy." Rachel couldn't shake the thoughts of the now pregnant hoe out of her mind. "Look at me." Jas insisted. "Get it together because you know you are doing better. He never deserved you. You have major shit going for you. No need to let his punk as and hoe stifle you today. It's our day." Jas preached.
"You right. Let me get myself together and I'mma be out." she told Jas. Jas glance at her friend before walking out. Rachel felt her phone vibrate earlier, so she check to see what it was. John left her a sweet message. "Can't wait to talk to you beautiful. Have a good day." Placing her phone back in her pocket, she wiped away her shed tears over the nigga who didn't deserve her.
She knew she shouldn't have shed those tears, but the thought of him being happy made her angry. He didn't deserve to be happy after he made her feel and look like a fool. Walking out of the bathroom. It was like nothing happened. Her mood lightened back up settling back at the table with her girls. "You good?" Samiya asked. "Hell yea. Just had a moment but I'm good." she didn't want her eyes to roam, but sure enough he caught her eye and he noticed their table also. He look as though he seen a ghost, and from the smile on Rachel face, she made sure she stood her ground.
"Damn man. I never expected to see him. I thought his ass moved away." Samiya continued.
"Naw, his ass stayed. They still living in the house we were suppose to live in." Rachel said salty. "Check." she said aloud to the waiter.
"Man that's some shady shit. But its all good. You got you a star now baby. No need to dwell on the past. You have new things coming your way." Jas reminded her.
"I know. I just recieved a text from John saying he can't wait to talk to me. I still can't believe its been a couple of days and we acting like high schoolers. Got me on cloud nine." she smiled happily.
The waiter returned bringing their tickets. Upon getting up and walking out of the door, a female called out to Rachel. "Look bae, its Rachel." his wife Angel called out. Rachel roamed her eyes around pretending she didn't notice. "Hey Rachel." Angel smirked waving at her hand to flash her rock. Rachel remained calm gave a simple wave and walked out.
Finally in the car, Rachel unleashed. "That bitch. How dare she speak to me!" she said angrily. "You handled it like a lady." Jas assured her friend. "Bitch better be happy she pregnant. I was ready to light her ass on fire. And you noticed Trevor never looked my way. That's because we made eye contact and all I seen was pain in his eyes. I hope that bitch make him miserable. They both deserve each other." Rachel was hot.
"Say ya'll, Luke text me wanting us to join him at Exotic." she said looking at her girls.
"Strip joint?" Jas asked with confusion in her face. "No, the place where we can race in the finest cars." Samiya said. "Let Rachel put that anger on the road." She continued trying to make the situation lighter for her friend. "Whatever man. Fucking ruining my day." Rachel ranted. Both Jas and Samiya glance at each other knowing it was going to be a long day.
