Damaged (Cancelled for now]

I slammed the door shut, ignoring the yelling of my name over and over again coming from the inside of the house. Ignoring the heavy rain fall I ran full speed to my car. “Chaz…wait!” I heard him scream over the rain fall once I slammed my car door. Pushing the petal all the way to the floor of the driver’s side I pulled out the drive way and sped down the road at full speed. Tears continued to drop as I drove down the road to where I really wasn’t sure. My eyes darted from the road to my phone lighting up on the seat beside me. I reached over and picked up and watched it as it rung. As I stopped at the red light I threw the phone back in the seat once it started ringing again. I put the car in park then placed my head on the steering wheel for a moment to think. My attention was brought back to rear view mirror to see head lights approaching fast and they weren’t slowing down.
