Lol...they actually have a drive through liquor place where you go through the building and they have all types of drinks everywhere...SWEET. lol!

Chapter 6 |Night Out|

The next morning I happened to be the first one up to my surprise. I guess I finally gave Marcus what he deserved. I got out of the bed feeling a chill upon my naked body. Getting up to walk into the restroom I took care all of my personal hygiene then walked back out to see Marcus is still knocked out. A smile emerged upon my face at the thought. I placed on some clothing so I could run to the store and grab some items from the grocery store for me to cook this morning. Not wanting to disturb Marcus, I quickly shuffled towards the door, but before I could open it, the sound of Marcus deep voice stop me dead in my tracks.

“Where you going?” he asked rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
“I want to get us something to cook for this morning.” I said.
“Bring your ass back in this bed. We are going to get something later.” he said.

I dropped my clothing to crawl back in the bed. He pulled my body into his arms feeling his warm body temperature against mines.

“So what do you have plan for today because I know you and Corey always have something up ya‘ll sleeves.” I said.
“We just plan to hit the court later on. Nothing special.” he said. “What you and fatty have planned today?” he asked.
“Who your talking about?” I asked.
“Jinn.” he said.
“Why your calling her fat?” I asked.
“Because she is.” he said with so much seriousness in his voice.
“Well I don‘t know. We haven‘t discussed anything yet.” I said.

Embraced in each others arms, time seem to wind down. Thoughts fluttered in my mind from the past to the present. Ten months it has been since the war with Javier. Everything seem to have died down, but for some reason something still doesn’t feel right. It is as though there is more to the story. Why is there a birth certificate with the name Claritha on it. Who was she? That name haunted my mind ever since I laid eyes upon it. The only way I can truly know is if I do my research.

“What your thinking about?” he asked interrupting my thoughts.
“Nothing really…You?” I asked looking up at him.
“Thinking about getting up to take a piss.” he said nudging me to the side so he could slip out of the bed.

Rolling over on my stomach I began thinking where to begin…

Jinn and I called one of her cousins over to watch Zay while we hit the streets tonight. It seems like after she got pregnant the wild side came out even more in her. Corey and Marcus were still out so we decided to dine out then head to a more upscale club afterwards so she told me.

“Damn this is a nice ride Clare. Marcus know he take care of his wifey.” she said staring at all of the amenities that came with the ride.
“I know.” I said with a smile.

The interstate rode smoothly taking us downtown.

“I have something real special for you tonight.” she smirked as I can feel her eyes glancing at me.
“Really. Should I be scared?” I asked.
“If you think you should.” she joked.

We arrived at the restaurant. I parked a few blocks down since there were no spots near by. I let Jinn out before though. My heels clucked against the concrete pavement while lights from various businesses shun through. Finally making it to the restaurant, there stood Jinn checking her cell phone.

“Let‘s eat. I‘m starving.” she said as we entered the reservation only restaurant.

The meal was delicious and now the next stop is the secret spot. Something Jinn is trying to hold out on. Trey Songz played in the background setting a nice mood for myself thinking of yesterday foreplay.

“Ooo…turn right here.” she exclaimed.
“Alright. Alright…” I said pulling up to a lit up building. “What is this?” I asked.
“You will see in a moment.” she said gleeful opening the door.

We both got out and approach the building hearing music blaring from the inside out.

“What is this?” I asked confused as to why we were here.

Entering the building, a man stood at the front desk wearing nothing but his boxers on. I slightly turned my head feeling myself suddenly become bashful to the sight.

“License.” he said.

We both pulled out our license and he told us we could enter. Lights buzzing everywhere, flawless men wearing the tightest bottoms they could find serving the customers. I pulled onto Jinn’s arm.

“What are we doing in here?” I asked awed by the sight.
“You deserve a treat.” she said. “And so do I.” she added in an undertone.

A nice caramel coated brother approached us wearing a pair of satin boxers and a bowtie. I couldn’t look him in his eyes but notice his nice size calves. I felt like a little kid who never watch porn before. I crack myself up.

“Need help finding a seat?” he asked.

We both nod our head embracing the beauty before us. This is my first time at a strip club in my life, but in reality I never needed to go to one.

“Front row if possible.” Jinn said with a grin then look towards me knowing I too held a grin.

One in the morning. The scent of smoke scented through my clothing as I snuck into the house. I took of my shoes tip toeing to the room to see that the television in our room glowed in the darkness. The sound of ESPN played in the background as I enter into the room. I snuck my head in to see Marcus laying back in the bed. I didn’t know whether he is sleep or not, but either way, I had to walk in. I casually walked in dropping my purse on the floor. I sat on the edge of the bed taking off my shoes, then stood up to strip out of my clothing. The light suddenly came on as I turned my head to see Marcus staring at me.

“Took you long enough. Why the fuck you and Jinn didn‘t answer ya‘ll damn phone?” he asked. I continued taking off the pieces of clothing I had on, then walked into the bathroom to turn on the shower.
“Left it in the car. We didn‘t take our purse into the jazz club.” I lied not wanting to bring up where we actually went to.

He didn’t say anything, so I snuck my head back in.

“Don‘t believe me.” I teased.

He glance my way, but still never said anything. I crawled in the bed as we sat face to face.

“You want me to say it in your face?” I asked.
“Do that.” he demanded.
“Went to a jazz club baby.” I said then pecked him on his lips. “Jinn know she has gotten feistier since her pregnancy.” I added.
“I can only imagine. Now get your funky ass in the shower.” he said as I slid out of the bed.
“Aye papi…” I moaned out as I slipped into the bathroom to take a nice shower.
