In a figurative way, we live right down the road from memphis. I go there about eight times a year. It could be my second home, and I ain't NEVER had a bad experience...then again, I stay away from certain places that we shall not name.

Chapter Fifteen cont.
Marcus Ramone
I followed Indigo to her room, which was cute. It was blue and brown, and it had a nice vibe to it. I knew Indi wasn’t ready for sex and I wasn’t going to pressure her. It’s just every time we talk it goes back to China and Jaz. "Marcus, I understand if you don’t want me. That’s fine, I accepted that long ago." This is my way of proving to her that I do want her. She situated herself on the bed and followed her lead.
"Marcus," She stared at me and grabbed my hand as she sat up on the bed, "My dad is coming home any minute and I don’t want him to catch us like this." I completely understood, I didn’t want her crazy ass dad to catch us like this either. I bent down to give her quick kiss but as I started to pull away she pulled me back to her.
She smiled afterward, "That’s how good you made me feel tonight. I love you."
"Love you too, Querida."
I stood there for a minute, mostly cause I didn’t want to leave. Indigo made everything
better for me. "You know, it’s probably best if I go." She nodded and pushed a piece of
hair behind her ear. "You gone be okay?" I asked, stalling.
"Yes," She smiled and lit up the room. "I’ll probably take another shower-"
"Don’t tell me that, I’ll mess around and stay." She giggled and adjusted on the bed.
"Bye, Marcus." She hinted and started walking to the shower when I heard a door open. We locked eyes panicking. Oh hell, why me? I didn’t want to die today.
"Querida hurry up and turn on the shower."
"What?!"
"Indigo," Her dad called. I rushed her into the bathroom with me following behind her.
She walked to the tub and started the water.
"Marcus." She said in regular voice before I stopped her.
"Indigo, he’s gonna come up here. Now turn on the shower and I’m getting in there too."
Her eyes got wide and reached for the knob to start it.
"Are you trying-"
"Indigo!" He shouted. I immediately, with my clothes on jumped in the shower. I forgot she didn’t have time to adjust the water because it was freezing cold. I shivered.
I heard his footsteps and I grabbed Indigo, "Indi, take off your clothes, get your body wet in the shower, and put on a towel. Then answer the door, NOW!" I demanded quietly as she quickly stripped and put on a shower cap. I tried my best not to look but I couldn’t help myself. Querida was beautiful. She got in the shower twirled twice and jumped out just as her dad knocked on the door. I pulled the shower curtain back so you couldn’t see me. I was sure I was sweating in the cold water. I should have left when she told me but I couldn’t, I wanted to be with her.
"Hi, daddy!" I heard her say excitedly.
"Everything okay in there?" I know I wasn’t the best Christian in the world but I was praying to GOD I didn’t get caught. I heard her pretend giggle.
"I didn’t know bathrooms were hazardous, daddy." She offered quickly, I felt and shared the nervousness. I heard her dad’s footsteps walking away. Then I heard hers.
She snatched the shower curtain back with a scowl, one hand held her towel up. Not being able to resist myself I grabbed her and kissed her. "You know when you did your little naked twirl?" I broke the kiss and whispered close to her ear, letting my lips brush her ear. She shivered in my arms as she nodded. I stepped out of her shower, while still holding her waist. "You got my mind spinning and I need to get out of here before you loose your v-card babe." I said before kissing her again.
She pulled away this time, "Actually you gotta stay until everyone goes to sleep. And I don’t know HOW you gonna get out my driveway without SOMEONE hearing you leave." She said as I stopped stroking her hair.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes, Marcus."
"Shit." I cursed under my breath. "….I’m going to stay until your dad is in a deep sleep." She looked at me like I had two heads but what other option did we have? None. "…And since we in here, we might as well take a shower together."
"What are you gonna put on after you get out the shower?" She asked, shooting her eyebrow up. I cracked a broad smile.
"Or I could watch you take one."
"I think not, boy, you out your head tonight."
"I can help too." I suggested. She shook her head no and I stared at her for a second before pulling her to me again. "Your absolutely beautiful, Indigo Nicole. Your gonna be my wife one day." She blushed and looked down and I lifted her head up and kissed her.
