Chapter 21 |The Twist…Marcus POV|
My blood boiled with anger. I couldn’t stand to look at Clare laying in the bed the way she did because the thought of her motionless body lying on the floor opened my eyes back to reality. Trust no one. As I paved my way through the night, I found myself heading into the direction of Moe’s crib knowing that fucker is there. Rain began hitting my windshield as I turned on my wipers. That was the only sound made throughout the car as I couldn’t help but think what I want to do. Pulling into the parking lot of her Condo, I cut the engine off and sat there for a minute. I always keep a pistol on me as I snatched it up from under my seat. Getting out of the car, the rain grew harder as I placed it behind me, tucking it securely in my pants as my shirt hovered over it. Although all of my focus is settled on killing him, I want him to suffer first. A long intense suffering. I had plans running through my mind, but this visit is just a taste of what is to come.
Entering the Floridian style condominium, I was greeted by the security who seen Corey and I several times since Corey and Moe run game together.
“Good evening Mr. Cooper. Did you come to come to see Moe?” he asked still focused on the newspaper.
I simply nod, not caring if he seen me or not. Stepping towards the elevator I pressed the button waiting for it open. The silver clad doors reach ground level, escorting no one out. I stepped into the elevator pressing the fifth floor. Soon the elevator came to a halt, opening the doors as I entered into a hallway. There were only two condos on this floor, but I stood in front of 501. Standing there in silence, I could hear footsteps along with voices. I began knocking on the door and there came silence afterwards.
“Man who the fuck is that?” His voice seep through the doors urking my insides as I am ready to kill him here and now.
I didn’t respond as I continued to knock on the door. Finally the door opened as I found myself staring into Moe’s face. Her hair fell messily over her as though she had a rough going not too long ago. The door hid her body, as I noticed her biting down on her bottom lip.
“Hey…What your doing over here?” she asked with a smirk, as she finally opened the door fully revealing a short robe that was open to reveal her bra and panties. I didn’t bother to respond. I pushed myself through the door as I already knew her facial expression. I wasn’t here to really talk. No. I am here for one thing, and one thing only. There he sat, grinning as though nothing happen.
“What‘s up Mac?” he called me by my old name Champion used to call me by. My eyes just continued to peer at him. “Yea, I know a lot about you…How about…” he began to say but I quickly cut his words short as my hands met his throat as I pulled him up from the seat. We stood eye to eye, that smirk still upon his face. That smirk need to go. My fist met his face as I punched in severely in his face several times causing him to fall back on Moe’s new crème sofa she just purchased from the last one that was I covered with blood. She might want to start finding another one. Moe immediately jumped in front of me yapping her trap.
“Look. You know I don‘t play this shit in my house, especially you Marcus. The last time shit went down we almost got sent to jail because of the noise. Please calm down.” she said, but I didn’t bother to listen to that shit.
He stood back up regaining his vigor. I pushed her out of the way, as my fist met Ron once again, but this time he became more of a challenge. I could feel his boney ass knuckles piercing my sides. Grabbing his head, he met my knee several times until he fell back on the sofa blood falling on her soft crème sofa.
“Marcus!” she shouted as she ran towards Ron like she actually gives a fuck. I scuffed at the scene. I see he will not be much of a challenge. As I head towards the door, I heard footsteps heading towards me, but before I could turn around, I felt my body pressing up against the door and my head slamming against the wood frame work. He smashed my head against the framework several times until my hand were able to get free to elbow him. Jabbing him in his ribs, it caused him to push back. Blood slowly drizzled down the side of my face.
My teeth began to grit as my anger grew even more. Immediately my fist balled up, jabbing him in his chest then his throat, knocking the wind from his pipe. He fell back crashing down on her coffee table as Moe just sat there shaking her head.
“Handcuffs.” I demanded as she trotted towards her bedroom. It was a minute later she walked back out. She stood with her hand on her hip and the handcuffs twirling on her index finger.
“What your going to do with him?” she asked, but I didn’t bother to give her an explanation. I snatched the cuff from her hand.
I walked passed her towards the balcony door as the rain constantly poured at a steady flow. Opening the door, violent wind howled through. Walking over to the body that still is knocked out. Grabbing him up off the floor slightly, I dragged him towards the balcony door right into the rain. Handcuffing his hands to the balcony, he slowly began to regain his consciousness. The rain drenched my clothing slightly as I entered back into the house where Moe stood there staring at me.
“So what did he do?” she asked.
“Give me a black and a light.” I said standing there as I watched her trail off to the kitchen. She trailed back out with a black in her mouth and one in her hand as well as a lighter. She handed mines as I slipped it in between my lips. She lit the lighter, putting it towards me to where I seen my smoke clouds being released. Turning around, more words slipped through her lips.
“Why do you love her Marcus? Out of all the girls you could have had, why did you settle on her?” she asked.
A slight pause rest among the room before I respond.
“When you refer to other girls do you mean why not you? And why is this any of your concern.” I asked knowing the answer. She always had a thing for me. She was always younger than me. I never found her childish ways attractive and even more so now, I still can’t stand the shit. I stepped back on the balcony seeing dumbass up and alert.
“What the fuck you think your doing man?” he asked as the rain pressed against my body. I sat down on the wet chair provided on the balcony and just stared at him.
“So you think it was cool to fuck over my girl like that?” I asked releasing another smoke trail and taking the black from my lips so I could get my point across. “What type of jealousy shit your trying to pull man?” I stood up from the plastic chair, placing the black back in my mouth.
“Clare ain‘t over me. Clare will never be over me.” he said boldly.
I chuckled to myself, as I walked around the chair. I’m going to make him regret every damn word that spills out of his mouth.
“You know…You’re a weak ass bitch. A real man wouldn’t leave trails. You my playa ain’t bout shit. You don‘t know who your fucking with, don‘t you son. Let me tell you a little about me being the fact I am the last individual you will meet.” I said lifting the chair from the ground and slammed it across his face hearing him scream out slightly. I pulled out my pistol and sat down back in the seat seeing blood cascading down from his cheek. His eyes grew big seeing the friend I held in my hand.
“When you mess with my shit, you will pay for it. Obviously you didn‘t know what you were getting yourself into because if you knew, I doubt you would have went near her.” I said stroking my pistol as though it was a pet.
“That‘s all you got? Shoot me nigga.” he said wanting his death wish soon while testing my patience.
“You see my friend in my hand. She is dying to meet you. But that’s too easy…” I said as I noticed his tensed body relaxed a little. The rain began slacking up some now… “That would be too easy.” I added emphasizing that once more while glancing his way. His weak as tried holding a hard demeanor but I could see past through him. My black began dying down so I stood up placing the remaining ashes in the middle of his forehead hearing him scream out in pain. I applied more pressure until I removed seeing the burn mark I just left. A smirk met my lips.
“See you in a couple of hours.” I said walking back in to leave. Moe sat on the sofa not knowing what to say.
“Me and Corey will be back here soon. Leave his ass out there.” I said feeling her eyes pierce my way. Ignoring her stare, I walked out dialing up Corey’s number to give him my game plan to terminate him before Clarese is released from the hospital.
